 1. Introduction to the workshop program content

The program content was thoroughly researched and compiled by Mr. Jimmy Thái based on the curriculum framework from Harvard Business University, USA. The five main topics were delivered by Mr. Thái through real-world data, charts, and his own teaching and working experiences with various organizations:

  • Leadership Skill Changes & Management Skill Changes
  • The Butterfly of Transformation Framework
  • The 4-P Success Formula
  • The 3-T Change Model
  • The 3-E Human Resource Management Model

The goal of the workshop was to help business owners, leaders, and managers navigate unexpected challenges and difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, not only in 2020 but in the years to come, as the pandemic is predicted to have long-term effects on the global economy.

2. Guest speakers’ sharing during the workshop

In addition to the insights shared by Mr. Jimmy Thái, three guest speakers at the event also provided sincere and practical insights about their own business experiences.

Thay đổi phương thức lãnh đạo và Tái cơ cấu hệ thống nhân sự

Mr. Chris Tran, CEO of Karcher Vietnam, a leading company in the manufacturing and distribution of cleaning equipment with headquarters in Germany, shared the story of Karcher’s early days in Vietnam and the opening of their branch in Hanoi. At the end of his presentation, Mr. Chris made strong remarks about the importance of setting a clear vision and strategy for a business, as well as building strong connections and cohesion within the workforce.

Following Mr. Chris’ presentation, Ms. Florence Lam, Vice President of Vantage Logistic, a leading logistics company in southern Vietnam, opened up about her perspective on building a business in the early days. At Vantage Logistic, Ms. Lam and the leadership team always prioritize passion for work and the desire to provide customers with the highest quality service. This became the core element of the company’s culture and policies, fostering trust and dedication from employees.

In contrast to the stories of the first two guests, Ms. Lê Nhã, CEO of Viking Vietnam, shared how Viking responded to the challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. From the sincere stories shared among employees in internal groups, Viking successfully bridged the gap caused by remote work (Work From Home). As a result, the company’s policies and direction from the leadership were quickly and accurately communicated to each employee, contributing to the successful achievement of their goal to overcome the crisis and maintain sustainability.

HRDC sincerely thanks the Leadership Foundation Academy, Mr. Jimmy Thái, Mr. Chris Tran, Ms. Florence Lam, Ms. Lê Nhã, and all the other guest speakers for their support and participation throughout the workshop. HRDC wishes everyone good health and continued success.
