Soft cherry and blackberry is enhanced by bursts of clove, leather, cola and exotic tobacco. Obertos use of oak renders spice tones that are enduring but not overwhelming. Soft tannins and a richly layered mouthfeel make this wine appropriate for near term drinking. Drink, 2016 2025.
