Antique Louis XV Ormolu Marquetry Bonheur Du Jour Desk Roger Vandercruse 1780 Recently Added John and George SangerAntique French Louis XV transitional ormolu mounted tulipwood & marquetry Bonheur Du Jour, Roger Vandercruse (dit Lacroix) , circa 1770. The desk is finely inlaid on all sides, therefore the desk can 'float' in the middle of a room. The top having a pierced ormolu gallery, below are two drawers and two cupboard doors, with marquetry inlay of Chinese vessels to the drawers and wine glasses and decanters to the doors.
