Trepat Blanco and Viura (Macabeo) from 65-year-old certified-organic vines on llicorella slate soils surrounded by a Mediterranean forest

Thinking that I wanted a bit of that bright fruit lift without going fully into the jolly  rancher spectrum and I also didn't want too much stem character on a wine that I anticipated being a bit on the lean side

Destemmed and crushed with a brief pre-fermentation cold-soak and then fermented by native yeasts in stainless steel tanks without added sulfur

it has a compelling rusticity with a wild berry impression and a lively freshness on the palate

Vinified in whole bunches, aged in concrete vats. Mostly Grenache with 10% other varietals (primarily syrah).
